This beautiful Matroschka doll set* might be the single cutest decor item I have owned and it really makes me smile every time I look at it. They are made in Finland out of Basswood and hand-painted in Russia just like the traditional Matroschka dolls. They are perfect for a kids room, but I personally love this playful touch in my office as well. I think the simple color palette of this beautiful, light flooded, turn of the century Swedish home just speaks for itself. The walls in the living room are kept white, while as the furniture and textiles in this room are light grey or beige, which makes the green plants and the cognac leather of that beautiful vintage arm chair stand out perfectly.  The little corner where the bed is placed has its own little gallery wall, which separates this area of the room visually from the rest and I love that the colors in the prints match the palette of the room. The kitchen has been painted in a very warm grey, which makes the old white built in cabinets stand out in such a nice way. If you are lucky enough to have a south-facing garden you could be BBQ-ing on a small fortune. Average asking prices for homes with these highly coveted gardens are £22,695 more than those without. South-facing garden price premium Rightmove analysed just under 400,000 three and four-bedroom homes across the UK. It found that the average asking price for a three or four-bedroom home with a south-facing garden was £369,365. Similar properties without one had an asking price of just £346,670.
