Cozy and inviting newly build home

A Turn of the century home naturally has this way of making everything look cozy, yet a newly build home needs a lot more effort to achieve the same results. This doesn’t mean however that a cozy and inviting atmosphere can’t be achieved, on the contrary.

Look at this beautiful Swedish apartment for example, where beautiful wall colors, accessories and textiles are combined for a cozy look that creates character and style.

The cozy sofa area works very nicely with the linen fabric cover, the mixture of pillow cases and the velvet pouf on the light area rug. The round mirror above the sofa reflects the light coming from the windows, which brightens up this corner. The round wooden dining table that stands in the middle of the kitchen and living area contrasts very nicely against all the grey in the kitchen and I love the combination of the different Thonet dining chairs.

The bedroom has a warm beige color palette, which is warmed up even more by using a dusty pink duvet cover. The combination of beige and white linen curtains works very nicely on the window as well.
